Meaningful Stone is a musician who seeks to stir and purify the collective unconscious through music.Her name, which means “even a single stone has meaning,” reflects her delicate ability to capture the texture of emotions and existence in everyday life.She first gained attention in 2015 by uploading self-made music videos and original songs on YouTube, and officially debuted in 2017 with her first single, [Camera in a Dream].Her debut full-length album, [A Call from Dream] (2020), won “Rookie of the Year” at the 2021 Korean Music Awards,and was ranked 27th on Rate Your Music’s global year-end chart for 2020.In 2021, she solidified her identity as a rock singer-songwriter with the release of her EP [COBALT].By reinterpreting the sound of 1990s alternative rock through the language of 21st-century youth,she received both critical and popular acclaim. The title track, [Dancing in the Rain],was nominated for “Best Modern Rock Song” at the 2021 Korean Music Awards.In 2023, she was invited to perform at SXSW Sydney as an official showcase artist representing Korea,and expanded her global presence through a tour across Taiwan, the Philippines, and Hong Kong,connecting with international audiences through her deeply resonant music.In August 2024, she acted in the film <Because I Hate Korea> (directed by Jang Geon-jae).Later that November, she released her long-awaited second full-length album, [Angel Interview],which was also nominated for “Best Modern Rock” at the Korean Music Awards, reaffirming her unique voice and artistic depth.
